Atlas Ergonomics: Your On-Site Physical Therapy Vendor
Our goal at Schneider National is for all employees to be healthy and happy. We have partnered with Atlas Ergonomics to provide physical and occupational therapy to all SNI employees who carry Definity Health insurance. Treatment is offered at NO COST to the associate. All family members under Definity Health insurance plan are also eligible for therapy services.Atlas therapists can assist you with any nutrition and diet concerns, monitor your weight and blood pressure, or refer you to the appropriate professional. They may also work with you in developing a fitness and general conditioning program, provide instruction on an appropriate stretching and/or strengthening program and serve as a mentor for your personal maintenance.
To receive therapy, an associates will need an order from a doctor for the on-site Physical Therapists. Atlas will keep you informed of your treatment status in order to stay in touch with your physician.
Atlas also provides Cab Ergonomics, an assessment of a driver's truck seat, to ensure proper positioning for optimal driving comfort. The driver is given suggestions to allow him or her to feel more comfortable while driving, to help fight fatigue, decrease muscle tension, maintain good posture, and decrease aches and pains. The therapist will assess the seat height, seat distance, seat pan, seat back, position of the steering wheel and lumbar supports.
