Schneider will provide to the IC, one set of cable chains for the trailer. The chains are available at Schneider maintenance facilities, not at chain banks. This set of chains will remain in the possession of the IC as long as his/her relationship with Schneider. If the relationship ends, the IC must return that set of chains to a Schneider maintenance facility at the time of out processing. To maintain inventory the IC will be charged .01 cent for the set of chains. If the IC purchases more than 1 set of cable chains, the charge will be $65 per set.
Schneider's maintenance facilities or their chain banks will not provide chains for the tractor. These can be purchased through Quality Chain (1-800-843-8824) or a vendor of the IC's choice.
All chains purchased through Quality Chain, other vendors or previously purchased through Schneider are the property of the IC. Schneider or it's chain banks will not accept these chains back for credit.
